Chocolate Pound Cake

Ingredients

1 cup butter or oleomargarine
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups refined sugar
5 eggs
1 teaspoon flavoring
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon leaven
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 to five tablespoons cocoa
1 cup milk

Directions

Beat butter and shortening; add sugar and blend well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well whenever additional; drill in vanilla. mix dry ingredients in an exceedingly separate bowl then add alternately with milk to creamed mixture.

Baking:

Bake chocolate cake in an exceedingly lubricated 10-inch tube pan at 325° for eighty minutes, or till chocolate cake bounces back once touched gently within the center with a finger.
